Made it to Town, Settling.

After a 17 hour drive (including enjoyable breakfast) we made it into Fort Collins at 1230 AM local time. Checked into the dog-friendly hotel and caught some sleep.

We moved most of my (Matt) stuff into the rental house and checked out the area. 8 acres to raom on the river is a lot of room, which we love, as do the dogs. The landlord is nice and has numerous tractors on the property, both of which Ive already driven while we pulled the neighbors tractor out of the river.

Today is Friday, and we are in Downtown Fort Collins in a coffee shop, enjoying the free Wi-Fi. We just met with a Realtor and saw a house for sale that we would like to buy. A fixer-upper and a steal at 119k. Now just to sell one house in Goodyear and we could be on our way.

Going to head home now, stop at Target and buy some other needed items for the house, and go home to clean and arrange things. Pics to come, as soon as we get some time to upload.

Decision...

So we decided to move to Colorado. Fort Collins to be exact; 60 miles north of Denver and 40 miles south of the Wyoming Border.

Of course we thought long and hard about moving and after careful consideration, figured it would never get easier than it is now.
So after 25 years in the West Valley, we pack up and move north.
Hopefully this blog will span the communication gap that so often keeps us out of touch. Enjoy. Please post all comments, we love to read them.
